FIVE  ELEMENTS  CONSTELLATION WORKSHOP                19 September

This is an all day event led by Emerson Bastos on 19th September from 10 am to 6 pm at the Wellington Centre, attached to the Wellington Square Baptist Church. It is about releasing the energy that holds you back, enabling you to feel lighter, clearer and more balanced. There is however a charge of £95. "THE  PRIEST'S  TALE"   24 September

This is a one-man play perfomred by the author as part of the Rye fesival, and concerns one man's experience of witenssing the atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima in August 1945. The play will be performed at the Rye Community Centre in Conduit Hill, Rye, starting at 8 pm and lasting for 90 minutes. Pre-booking is required. Tickets cist £15 and are available at  www.ryeartsfestival.org.uk

NATIONAL EMERGENCY  BRIEFING   26 September

This new film presented by the well known naturalist and environmental activist  Chris Packham explores the existential threats facing Britain, from the climate crisis to food security, has already been shown at the Electric Palace in the old town of Hastings but there is another chance to catch it on Saturday 26th September at Christ Church, Old London Road in Ore from   2 pm 

BEXHILL  QUAKERS'  OPEN  HOUSE   3rd October

Bexhill Quakers welcome you to visit their Meeting House in Alfred Road, Bexhill (quite close to the De La Warr Pavilion) for refreshments and sale of artisan products from noon to 3 pm

WORLD  QUAKER  DAY   4 October

Quakers from all around the world are invited to participate in an online gathering using the "zoom" platform. The whole event will last eight hours to enable coverage in the world's various time zones, but of course you do not have to remain for the whole session. Feel free to join when you like and leave when you like. QUAKER  CONCERN  OVER  POPULATION   9  October

A talk by guest speaker Jonathan Fletcher online using the "zoom" platform, entitled "Don't mention population growth". It will examine whether the growth of the human population over the past 100 years is consistent wih our duty of care for God's creation. Contact us to receive details of the zoom link.
